After publishing the article Two Legal Services Cold Calling the TCA has been alerted to yet another company, cold calling timeshare owners with an offer to help them with their timeshare. This latest company is called Access Legal, a trading name of Shoosmiths LLP.
The reports we have received tell us that the net is cast quite wide in terms of what the call objective is for and the company almost fish for a bite onto one of the services they offer.
This information coincides with the information on their website. They don’t have any mention of timeshare claims nor do they specialise in any one thing.

On their website, Access Legal boast ten offices within the UK, one of which is the registered address for both websites: Shoosmiths, The Lakes, Bedford Road, Northampton, NN4 7SH.
The TCA would always advise not to engage with any company who cold calls you, ask where they obtained your personal data from or how you opted in to receive the call. Any company abiding by the data protection act and not cold calling you will be able to provide you with this information.
