One is aware that within the timeshare industry, no matter what data protection exists, lists of owners are renowned for being sold over and over again, with the intention of cold calling. This mostly arises due to the unscrupulous types of people that work within the timeshare industry and think nothing of reselling a consumers personal data, down to the date of purchase and payment method used, even though that data doesn’t even belong to them either, they were just able to “obtain it” where they may have worked.
It has come to the TCA’s attention, through various reports, that there is yet another claims company, cold calling timeshare owners and offering them a “no win, no fee” service. This latest company is called Two Legal Services and seems to be a “jack of all trades”, offering help with;

- Life Insurance
- Funeral Plans
- Mis-sold pay day loads

- Business Rates
- Cost Management
- Mis-sold Solar Panel Investments!

We would advise not to engage with anyone who cold calls you, ask where they obtained your personal data from or how you opted in to receive the call. Any reputable company will be able to provide you with this information.
