As is often the case when a scam company is rumbled they simply change their name and carry on as if nothing has happened, this certainly appears to be the case with Security Bank UK. We recently reported on a scam being perpetrated by a nonexistent company called Interbank see:

https://timeshareconsumerassociation.org.uk/2021/08/09/interbank-another-club-class-scam/

Thanks to a recent enquiry it appears that Interbank have metamorphosed into Security Bank UK.

After research we could find no reference to a company named Security Bank UK, furthermore our kind enquirer supplied us with a copy email which has the same email address as Interbank being info@oficinademadrid.com which we previously established was only registered on 4th August 2021. Below we produce the email sent redacted for privacy:

The address would indicate that this document is coming from the court of the first instance in Madrid. Incidentally, the real Madrid court of first instance email address is: pozuelo-jdo1@madrid.org. Ask yourself, does this presentation really look like a Spanish court document? Below is an example court claim document and is original, they follow the same format so why has the official court document not been sent to the “mark”, obvious really, because no such document exists.

As may be seen the email contains a bankers draft for BBVA a very large Spanish bank. The draft is for the sum of €32,400, so what is this wonderful award for? Supposedly there has been a court case in Spain and the above sum was awarded, the award is against Designer Way Vacation Club and Club Class. We can categorically say that no such court case has taken place and neither will there be one. DWVC went into liquidation in 2011 and Club Class in 2012. As both companies had practically zero in their corporate accounts where on earth is €32,400 coming from?

The Spanish government certainly doesn’t have a fund to pay monies out to victims who had holiday clubs that now no longer exist, especially as most of the holiday clubs had no legal presence in Spain. A copy of the redacted draft may be found here:

Finally

Nothing about this scam is true it’s all false; once again we make the point in this particular case the supposed judgement of the Spanish court case was against Club Class and DWVC.

Grant Thornton, the liquidators of the seven businesses collectively known as the ‘Club Class companies’ have confirmed that the winding up process has been completed and they are finally being dissolved.  In relation to Club Class It has been confirmed by Grant Thornton that the many former Club Class owners will not receive a penny in compensation. Grant Thornton are one of the largest accountancy practices on the planet and if they say there is no money then 100% there is no money. No doubt the same applies to DWVC.

If you are approached in relation to Club Class, DWVC or any other defunct holiday club confirming you have won compensation do not, we repeat do not get involved.
