The well-known holiday club Breckenridge Grand Vacations has released a statement this week which details the changes in its company configuration over the last few months.

Brothers Mike and Rob Millisor, and their close family friend Mike Dudick, founded Breckenridge Grand Vacations back in 1984.  When originally founded, they had the intent of being head and shoulders above their competitors.  They ensured this was possible by making sure that their customer service would be on par with the standard of holiday ownership that they could offer to their members. Their slogan is “Always Grand Vacations”, which they have always lived up to, showed by the positive impact the company has had on its many owners, guests and employees.  With the company also embracing the Net Promoter methodology company-wide, consistently beating industry averages with its high scores.

For over 20 years the brothers along with their valued and trusted team have created Grand vacations for their over 23,000 owners.  Due to the sudden and tragic death of Rob Milliser during a humanitarian trip of India in late 2015, to keep their company strong and prosperous the company realised changes would need to be made to keep the company moving in the right direction.  Some of these changes are being implemented at the moment via responsibility shifts and promotions to executive levels.

The first appointment saw Mike Dudick, BGV’s co-owner and developer return with his family to the county, he took on a full time role of BGV´s Chief Executive Officer.  He is also serving his second term on Breckenridge Town Council at present.

Co-Owner and Developer Mike Millisor will continue to be closely involved in important, daily decisions although living semi permanently with his family in Maui, Hawaii.  With his indispensable guidance and support, he will continue to provide his team the support that they need from afar.

Taking on a dual role after a successful 10 years as BGV´s Chief Financial Officer Nick Doran will now head up the executive team and will also be responsible for the operational day to day running of the whole company.

After 20 years’ dedication leading the BGV Sales Team, Dave Stroeve has been proudly promoted to BGV´s President of Sales.  After his valued commitment over this time, he has undoubtedly contributed to the success and overall growth of the entire BGV brand.

BGV are delighted with the introduction of new face, Blake Davis, as the new Chief Financial Officer.  He brings along 23 years of experience from his previous position of President at First Bank of Summit County, where he had worked closely with the BGV team for many years.  He has been an active member of the Summit County community for over two decades and serves as a board member with the Summit Foundation.

These changes are being embraced by the company who employ over 500 staff members across the board.  The strong team at BGV will work together to progress and continue company growth well into the coming future.  In the sadness of the loss of Rob Millisor, his legacy will remain, with the strong example he set.  One expects that BGV will excel with their new leadership regime with the continued assistance of the existing Executive team.  We at the TCA look forward to seeing their performances improving.
