When you go on holiday with your family you want to relax, have fun, explore and make memories not be harassed into buying timeshare! Recently more and more reviews are appearing on trip advisor detailing in depth the extent Wyndham Resorts, Grand Desert, Las Vegas will actually go to intimidate its guests with their timeshare hard sell tactics.

This exclusive resort offers fully equipt self catering suites and being located just a 20 minute walk to the famous Las Vegas Strip, no wonder it is a popular choice for families and couples who want to be just a little further from the hustle and bustle. On first glance this would be the perfect getaway, if not for the sales representatives waiting to lure you in.

Many of the holidaymakers explained how when complete at the the check in desk you are promptly escorted to the concierge desk where you are introduced to the overly welcoming staff who explain the many services they have to offer from restaurant reservations to tickets for sold out shows, and then they drop the “complimentary breakfast” offer and the nightmare begins.

One traveller wrote:

Check in staff were nice but you have to go to the “concierge desk” to get your parking pass etc. This is really a hard sell timeshare opportunity. having read other reviews i was prepared for this and determined to politely refuse. However the staff are VERY intimidating and i was basically bullied into agreeing to their “free” breakfast. I did not actually go and did not pick up the phone for the rest of the stay.

One thinks this is taking high pressure sale tactics to another level and basically stalking holidaymakers and grinding them down until they fold to the sale.

An owner at the resort wrote:

We were asked to attend the “free” breakfast or we could pay $20 surcharge to miss it. We went, the breakfast was terrible and three hours later my husband ended up being talked into doubling our membership. We are now out of the new plan but beware of the 5 day cancellation window.

Its becoming evident that holidaymakers need to stay alert to these tactics and to protect themselves as much as possible from falling into the trap.
