Not much more to be added except the questions mulling over in your mind all starting with why?
- Why did we buy it?
- Why are we still paying for it?
- Why can we never book holidays?
- Why can’t we get out of it?
The article from the link above makes former CLC world seem fantastic, and it probably is, the pity is as a timeshare owner you will have to fight off the online booking customers just to get a slice of what you paid heavily for, and with annual maintenance fees included and possibly expensive loan repayments, you still are.
Next time, if there is a next time, you visit former CLC resorts, do a little survey. Whilst sitting with your feet dangling in the pool or having a leisurely drink at one of the bars, ask your neighbour how long they have owned their timeshare? It’s likely that the answer will be “we don’t own a timeshare, we booked online”.
Sorry for the negatives but it’s the way of today’s timeshare world.
