After producing numerous articles surrounding fake Spanish Lawyers just when the dust seems to have settled, up pops another one. Litigamos Abogados are indeed a real firm of lawyers; problem is they are based not in Tenerife, as our scammers would have you believe, but Columbia in South America. Our investigation began with an enquiry from a former owner of Island Village timeshare in Tenerife, the same old nonsense is pedalled, there is a court case that our enquirer has won, albeit he never knew such a case had taken place. Compensation has been awarded but for some spurious reason a payment to the lawyers has to be made. Here begins the scam.
Our Enquiries
Our first comment is this has all the hallmarks of a very well worn scam perpetrated by the same team, if you would like to peruse the results of our previous exposures the link is here. The eagle eyed amongst you will notice the logo artwork and overall design of the website is remarkably similar.
Firstly we checked the law firm and in line with past investigations we establish that there is no such company registered at Spanish companies’ house. Furthermore the official registration number of the company equally doesn’t exist, see below:
The website
Initially we looked up the domain using whois, as to be expected we established that the domain was only registered on 1st June 2022 so at the time of writing the website is a mere 33 days old. As is usual with these scammers, all the photographs of staff on the site are false as are the names.
The company address is quoted as Calle El Lomo 11, Edificio Reyes, Oficina 221C, 38009, Santa Cruz, Tenerife. Using Google Maps this is what we found:

Our advice
Once again an old scam, just the name of the law firm has changed. We always say the same thing but to really make sure our message hits home we will type in capitals and Bold:
THERE IS NO COURT CASE AND THERE WILL NEVER BE A COURT CASE, THERE IS NO COMPENSATION TO BE AWARDED.
YOU CANNOT POSSIBLY BE PARTY TO A COURT CASE IF YOU HAVE HAD NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OR INVOLVEMENT!
Again a fairly convincing scam, but a scam nevertheless. If you are contacted by Litigamos Abogados or any other law firm confirming that you have won a court case that you were totally unaware of then don’t, and we repeat, don’t get involved. The only beneficiary will be the scammers
