We were nearly blown off our seats when it was brought to our attention that the mighty Financial Times Newspaper is interested in gathering opinions from timeshare owners who believe they have been mis-sold their holiday ownerships. An online article written by George Hammond appeared on their website on 14th August 2020 appealing for feedback from their readers. The article may be seen here:

There is a link in the article to make your voice heard: money@ft.com

From the considerable number of communications we receive at the TCA from extremely unhappy timeshare owners, we would be very surprised if the FT aren’t overwhelmed with replies. The responses will assist the FT in an upcoming feature looking at large scale timeshare miss-selling and what issues these arrangements pose for those who have bought them.

This is an ideal opportunity to have your opinions heard by one of the world’s most respected daily newspapers. It would appear obvious to us that the FT must have already received a considerable number of complaints from timeshare owners to feel the need to carry out this much deeper research.

The TCA would also like to hear your stories, so whilst writing to the Financial Times, we would appreciate it if you would be so kind to also CC us in at: news@timeshareconsumerassociation.org.uk
