A holidaymakers dream Mexican get away was ruined by the allure of a timeshare presentation.  Accepting the invitation was the first error in judgment they admit they made.

This traveler explains how after being accosted while trying to enjoy their long awaited holiday it turned into the worst mistake of their life.

“After being bombarded for nearly eight hours and feeling like I was wasting precious time.”

They then bent to the hard sell, but before making it official the holidaymaker outright asked the question – “If I sign and then regret, and I have the desire to cancel the contract if there is any problem?” With this the salesman rapidly changes the subject back to how amazing his membership was.

After ten idyllic days in Mexico they returned home to begin the process of cancellation. Their search online of Royal Holiday Club gave startling results, an abundance of claims of fraud and absolute disgust at the FIVE DAY CANCELLATION PERIOD.

As they had well passed this ridiculous notice period they contacted Royal Holiday Club immediately to advise of their desire to cancel, to be told this would not be possible.

Furious at realizing they had been directly deceived into believing they could cancel at a later date, all the while knowing they would not have attempted to cancel until they returned home.

One would expect the right to cancel to be at least a minimum of fourteen days, especially when the clients are obviously on holiday and will not be back in time to cancel – or was that the objective with this company’s policy?

Desperately trying to find a solution, they turned to the internet and discovered a company named Mexican Timeshare Solution’s.

Five anxious filled months later they finally received the news they had been waiting for, the confirmation of the cancellation of their contract.

In that time Royal Holiday Club tried everything in their power to avoid it but this time victory was the consumers.
