We reported last month how the Resort Development Organisation (RDO) quite openly admitted that Alberto Garcia “asked to step down” as Director of Mindtimeshare as well as Enforcer for RDO.

Although the article detailed the facts, it was buried within the website and didn’t appear in their normal news feed making it quite hard to stumble across but from the RDO point of view, and maybe for Garcia’s benefit, the statement had been made.

It was also curious that Mindtimeshare went through a company restructure at the exact same time as Garcia stepped down, making it a SL (equivalent to a Limited company in the UK).  Was this so the new Director, Pedro Picazo Senti, could not be personally liable for anything written perhaps after Garcia found himself uncomfortably the target on so many occasions after being the straw man for the RDO?

Even though the company line was Garcia “asked to step down” it seems like he is still being kept within the inner paid circle to do the RDO’s dirty work.  As reported on Inside Timeshare website, Alberto is now helping the RDO’s Chairman Calvin Lucock clean up a problem within Holiday Club Finland as Lucock’s scare tactics of sending letters to clients warning them off legal action due to its low success rate and high costs to the consumer haven’t seem to have done the job he had hoped.

Garcia is now believed to be “The Enforcer” to stop clients being sent to claims companies for illegal Holiday Club contracts.   As one reported previously, Calvin Lucock has a chequered past and a ventured interest as he is also the Managing Director of Holiday Club Canaries.  It seems like Garcia has been given this job to keep him on the payroll or just keep him out of trouble.
