Below you will find an un-redacted copy of a letter which has been sent to the known timeshare owners at this resort, and is a direct rebuttal against the offer made by Harry Taylor on the 13th June 2015.
To recap, Harry Taylor made the spectacular decision that timeshare consumers could surrender their timeshare. Without such an offer being passed by the committee, that offer would be subject to caveats and possible conditions.
As reported, this resort is in extreme difficulty as the Landlord is placing considerable pressure on Harry Taylor and his co-committee members to pay a substantial debt which the club has incurred.
Clearly the offer could be a reaction so as to secure his own position.
At this point one wonders why Mr Taylor is so desperate to keep his position in the club as no doubt, the Landlord is charging both barrels and they are aimed at the committee.
You will find below that the Landlord is making a counter-offer to Timeshare Consumers in that he will buy off you, for cash, your timeshare weeks.
All you have to do to obtain a cash price is email him disclosing your occupation, the lodge type, location and state of repair.
The question we pose to Consumers is who do you trust?
Harry Taylor who might give you an exit, and who will not hold his own committee to account for the potential misdemeanors.
Or the Landlord, who will defiantly buy off you, your timeshare and the rights that timeshare attracts.
The TCA suggests that after the habitual arguments which have occurred at this resort, that you put your trust and faith in the Landlord on this occasion as he has been the main orchestrator in exposing the many problems in the timeshare resort.

Dear timeshare owner,
Re: Your Lakeview Country Club Timeshare
We are writing to you and all other timeshare owners that we have records for.
We have noted that the timeshare committee have offered all members the opportunity to surrender their timeshare week(s) at Lakeview to the committee free of charge provided the maintenance fees are up to date.
This offer, made at the recent AGM held 13th June 2015, will, we believe, require you to write to Harry Taylor, the Chairman of the Timeshare Club, asking to surrender your timeshare followed by Harry Taylor making a decision as to whether you can or cannot do so.
First, we understand that the offer was made at the end of the meeting following considerable pressure from the floor and may therefore have been a knee jerk reaction to escape the meeting unscathed. If that be the case it could easily be rescinded (given past record of the committee) or drawn out over an unacceptably long period of time.
As for the QC’s opinion which confirmed that if you have been charged more than 1/51th of your lodge’s service charge then you have been over charged, no mention of this substantial problem was made at the AGM.
We do not know why the committee should be keen to see timeshare weeks surrendered having regard to the fact that the liabilities then fall on to the committee alone. We would invite you to consider that the offer was part of a planned move for the committee and FNTC trustees to look innocent as they plan some other use. As the Landlord and owners of the freehold of the site, we do not think that the surrender option is likely to benefit the timeshare owners and we are therefore proposing the following to ALL members.
We will BUY your timeshare for cash. The price will depend on the week for which members have occupation, the lodge type, the lodge location, and the state of repair.
