On Saturday 13th June 2015 a meeting will take place, which has been called by the chairman of the Lakeview timeshare resort. As the unhinged resort still remains up fretful creek this meeting will be no playground but could turn into a circus as the mutinous Consumers have an opportunity to challenge the overzealous activities which are particular to this resort at present.

History tells us that the chairman in 2013 made a statement explaining to the sedate timeshare owners that;

“The uncertainty had passed and it is a pleasure to be able to report that a solid partnership is being forged between the committee and the landlord and this solid partnership would continue in the future”

Cynics did not place any wagers on this statement as they believed that the sweet freedoms that were inferred would never happen. Those cynics were proved to be right as black mambas existed in the resort in the form of Aroma and an unpaid £2million pound bill from the landlord.

From that moment on a tempest brewed and any expected harmony in the resort was extensively lost. The equivocal dogman continued from the timeshare committee and Consumers were being bounced from pillar to post. This resulted in an intervention by Continental Trust as, in all reality; the underlying trust asset was at risk. And if this asset was lost, the presumed sweet freedoms could vanish.

The resort still remains unhinged and still up fretful creek until such time that a definitive answer and a corresponding agreement has been made. The question is simply; can Harry Taylor obtain on behalf of the timeshare owners, that freedom? Or have the Consumer’s and the landlord lost all faith in the chairman?

At this moment in time and after writing many articles about this particular resort, it may well be the case that he is incapable of reversing the many decisions which he has made. To do so would require him to fall on his sword and clear the air with substantial acts of contrition.

The TCA wishes all Consumers at Lakeview a productive meeting, so as they can at long last gain a quiet enjoyment of their holidays which in reality they have paid for and maintained over the many, many years of ownership.

The TCA historically took the view that if we got matters wrong, we would apologise as it is just to do so. The word apology appears not to be in the vocabulary of this resort as it is mutinously vacated in exchange for silence.
