Eugene Warren Brewington, a 34-year-old man in Orlando, Florida has been locked up for 9 years after being found guilty of operating a fraudulent Timeshare Resales company in Florida.  He ran two companies called Timeshare Title Services LLC and United Clearing Solutions LLC operating from December 2010 to March 2011, both skimming money illegally from trusting clients.  In just 4 short months Eugene managed to illegally cipher a sum of $ 704,326.55.

The companies that were founded and operated by Eugene made their money by employing representatives to cold call potential clients.   The ‘callers’ as the telephony representatives were named made phone calls to the Timeshare Owners to say that they knew of someone that was interested in purchasing their timeshare unit/weeks.

The potential buyers had ‘seemingly’ already paid in advance for the Timeshare property that they were interested in purchasing.  All the seller had to do was pay the relative fees to finalise the paperwork of the sale.  This payment was taken from the seller, whom never saw this money again, and surprise surprise, they were still left with their timeshare unit and maintenance payments.  There was never a buyer, and the Timeshare Owner was duped out of their money.

Eugene was the operator of the bank account where the ‘fees’ were paid into, and he was also responsible for renting the offices from where the ‘callers’ worked from.  He is now facing a 9-year long sentence, and has an order to pay back the $700,000.  A colleague and aid in the scam, Chima Edozie Aligwekwe (33), is to be sentenced for his participation in the scheme on September 12th 2016, in which he was also found guilty for mail and wire fraud.

Again, we at the TCA bring you these stories to make you aware that there are so many scam companies that operate and prey on the vulnerability of Timeshare Owners and their more often than not, desire to rid themselves of their timeshare.  We would like to remind you not to pay any fees in advance of services promised.  Wait until you see a result before you pay.

If you have been one of these unfortunate Timeshare Owners, caught up in a resale scam, please get in touch with us to see if there is anything you can do to recuperate your losses.
