Another compensation case has recently been heard after a timeshare owner at Club Estrela Dorada decided to pursue the resort.

The Club Estrela Dorada contract was deemed null and void in court number 27 in Barcelona.

The case referred to the Supreme Court ruling and on the basis that the consumers had been sold floating weeks, the court ruled that their contract was illegal.

The judge awarded these consumers over 29,000€, plus legal fees AND interest on this sum during the period of ownership.

This is yet another great victory in a long line of compensation cases being put forward to the courts and encouraging news to those consumers still waiting for their cases to be heard – or to all of those still evaluating their options.

More information on the current claims being heard can be found here.
