Timeshare Point’s Systems Exits

I have been sent a number of documents which concern holiday points. Much of the documentation relates to an entity called “Diamond Resorts”.  Some of it involves a concept described as “Points”.  The documentation – and the underlying contractual relationships it seems to support – is highly confusing.

The issue I am specifically asked to address here is whether timeshare point’s systems fall within the definition of “long-term holiday product contracts” contained in Regulation 8 of the Timeshare, Holiday Products, Resale and Exchange Contracts Regulations 2010 (hereafter “the 2010 Regulations”). Regulation 8 is in the following terms:
