With so many timeshare resorts within Europe, it is always helpful to know what other timeshare owners think of the resorts they own in. You may be looking to purchase timeshare for the first time or you are seasoned owner looking to use the exchange program and try somewhere new. Here at the Timeshare Consumer Association, we have got genuine reviews on a couple of European timeshare resorts from owners who have given a brief description of each resort.
Macdonald Leila Playa Resort
Just 30 minutes from Malaga airport, the Leila Playa resort is situated right on the beach in Calahonda. This resort has a traditional Spanish feel with white walls and tiled steps unlike some other vacation properties in the region.
The Leila Playa comprises of three apartment blocks, that are no more than two storeys high, that slope down towards the gorgeous, sandy beach. On the resort you will find an outdoor pool, a bar and restaurant and a great play area for the kids.
The resort has many apartment suites from studios sleeping two, all the way up to three bedroom apartments suites that sleep up to eight people. Most of the suites have access to either a balcony or a terrace and the most central apartments offer great sea views.
A recent review from an owner; “As always had a lovely relaxing stay. Have owned here since the beginning and it never fails to please. Lovely friendly staff, beautiful gardens, clean and well equipped apartments. Always made to feel welcome as soon as we step into reception. Any issues are dealt with promptly. Love the location with the beach so close and also the new boardwalk which is great for an early evening walk.”
Hilton Grand Vacations Club At Borgo Alle Vigne
This was the first resort that Hilton Grand Vacations opened in Italy and you couldn’t ask for a more scenic location. Borgo Alle Vigne overlooks the historic village of Peccioli and is surrounded by the serene Tuscon countryside. This resort is perfectly situated amongst olive groves and miles of vineyards, with easy access to Sienna, Florence and Pisa.
Borgo Alle Vigne has five separate accommodation areas offering a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom villas all with a combination of contemporary and modern living spaces and conveniences.
Owner review; “The resort is set in a tucked away location just outside of Pisa. The views are tremendous and only bested by the Wine of the Tuscany region. The rooms here are amazing, comfortable beds, kitchen, 1 ½ bath, pool, a spectacular patio with a grand view. This is our second stay and we plan to make this a regular vacation location. My personal favourite Hilton Grand Vacation Resort! I’ve also visited other Hilton properties in Hawaii, Scotland, Portugal and Myrtle Beach, SC. All were terrific but Italy is simply unmatched!”
