It has been brought to our attention that there is yet another Timeshare Claims company working fraudulently out of Spain, loosely said, however, as they don’t seem to have an address.  Harris Claims Services declare that they are calling on behalf of the bank of Spain, whom have a list of creditors that they are holding money for.

The creditors, are timeshare owners, they prey of many around Spain at the moment.  The company or resort where this particular client has purchased their timeshare property, unit or points has been taken to court and the bank of Spain is holding their creditor list, which is a list of all of their consumers that the company in question have ‘fraudulently’ sold to.

The caller, calling from a Spanish number 0034 910051086, proceeds to tell the client that they are one of the fortunate ones that have been registered to receive their monies back from their ‘fraudulent‘ investment.  The only thing that they have to do is pay an administration fee of around £1500 to the courts to release their big payout that is being held in the bank.

This all seems a bit skeptical, a win in a court battle that the consumer was not even aware of until it has actually been won.  Not an issue for Harris Claims Services, as they are able to verify their story through Holiday Timeshare Watchdog.  Harris Claims give the client the number to call this ‘watchdog’, the number that they give is 02038139694.  The telephone number is probably just another paid telephone line in the same building as Harris Claims Services.  The client can call this number and they will assure the client on any points of doubt.

Clever little tactic to use a back-up number as proof, however, please be aware that this is not the first time that we have heard of the company ‘Holiday Timeshare Watchdog’, it has been used for alibis in the past and has fooled many.  Do not be one of the many, this is NOT a real Watchdog company.

We have written a few articles in the last couple of months with regards to these companies popping up in Spain off the back of the high court ruling that timeshare points and fractional ownership are in most instances illegal, and the consumers have a right to claim on their original investment.  This is indeed the case however, there are many companies that are jumping on the bandwagon to make money without their actually having been any claim.

We at the TCA recommend to always do your research, if you are unsure of a company, then find out about them first.  We encourage you not to do business with Harris Claims Services, or for that matter Holiday Timeshare Watchdog.  Our contact details are below, we welcome any questions regarding your Timeshare concerns, and will do our best to find out the answers for you.
