“As Mexico’s leading golf course developer, Vidanta is consistently in the forefront of golf development and tourism, We strive to bring the very best in the industry to our guests, which is why we partnered with Greg Norman for the design of this signature course.”

The Norman Signature Course, is located in the state of Jalisco along the south east coast of Mexico. The exciting design winds along the banks of the Ameca River providing views of the breath taking Sierra Madres from every hole. Extensive landing areas are followed by large areas of crisp green fairways protected by concave sandy bunkers. With native landscapes surrounded by jungle the course is completely uninterrupted by housing and civilisation. With the unique bonus of showcasing the world’s longest golf cart suspension bridge spanning across the Ameca River. This 18 hole golf course is a superb example which will have the professionals and novices alike enjoying for years to come.

With a ecstatic Greg Norman stating:

“When designing this course, respecting and promoting the conservation of ecologically sensitive areas was of primary concern. As a result, routing was dictated by nature, according to dense vegetation corridors, streams and wetlands, We really enjoyed working with the Vidanta team on this design, as they know and understand golfers’ needs and expectations for a world-class course. Ultimately both high and low handicappers will really enjoy playing, as it offers the perfect trifecta of beauty, fun and challenge.”

These celebrations are added to an already outstanding year had by The Vidanta Group with the Nuevo Vallarta being awarded the prestigious “Silver Medal Resort” by Golf magazine in summer this year.

One expects we will see an upturn in men convincing their wives to kick back and relax on the spectacular Mexican beaches while the husbands enjoy the peace and tranquility on these award winning courses.
